About
The engineer behind the practice.
The business language on this site describes a very simple structure: one senior engineer, hands-on, accountable for everything that ships. This page is about him.
01 — Bio
Javier Benito Santoni
I'm Javier — a software engineer based in Europe who has spent the last six years inside European ecommerce. Consultancy work at Flat 101, where two stores were built from scratch and delivered on time. The end-to-end build of Atida's pan-European pharmacy platform. Long-term principal-engineer engagements with Diva-e's enterprise clients across Europe and Asia. And an independent practice running since 2019, through which I've mentored teams into Spryker at every stop.
Today I work AI-first. Claude Code and agentic workflows are part of my daily toolchain — for migrations, test coverage, back-office automation and feature delivery — which is why I can commit to timelines that used to need a small team. The judgment stays human: SOLID architecture, tested code, senior review on every change.
Clients keep me around: my longest engagements have run for years, because I communicate like a partner — clear estimates, biweekly demos, and no surprises.

03 — The company
About Artevit
Artevit is the software development company through which this practice operates — founded and led by Javier as lead engineer. It exists so clients get a proper business to contract with; what they buy is still the same thing: senior engineering, delivered hands-on.
04 — How I work
Partner, not vendor
Clear estimates before work starts. A demo every two weeks, whether it's flattering or not. Documentation your team can maintain. And an honest "you don't need us" whenever that's the true answer.
